Dear Friend,
Good evening, And just like that, we are here already. Saturday.
Last day of the week. Funny how weeks move. Monday always arrives looking very serious, everybody has plans, energy, determination, then somehow life starts life-ing and by Wednesday, you are already negotiating with yourself. But look at you. You made it here.
Maybe this week did not go exactly how you planned. Maybe some things happened differently. Maybe some prayers are still hanging in the air and maybe some things still do not make sense yet.
But I think sometimes we are so focused on what has not happened that we forget to appreciate how far we have come.
This week, we talked a lot about timing. About trust. About slowing down. About not forcing things. if there is one thing I hope you remember after this week, it is this: God is not trying to catch up with your life. He is not late. He is not confused. He has not forgotten you. I know sometimes we act like heaven should explain every delay to us immediately I do it too sometimes but if we truly trust God, then trusting His timing has to become part of that conversation too. Some things take time. And that is okay.
Scripture Anchor:To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
Prayer Points:
1. Father, thank You for carrying me through this entire week.
2. Lord, thank You for every lesson You have been teaching me in this season.
3. Help me trust You even when I do not understand the process.
4. Teach me patience in seasons where I feel stretched.
5. Remove every fear concerning my future.
6. Help me never run ahead of Your plans for my life.
7. Let my heart remain settled in Your promises.
8. Give me grace to appreciate the season I am currently in.
9. Lord, strengthen my faith for the journey ahead.
10. Help me remember daily that Your timing is always perfect.
Dear Friend,
As this week comes to an end, I hope you breathe a little easier.
Stop being so hard on yourself. Not everything has to happen immediately. Not every prayer has to be answered this second.
Life is not running away from you. And the God holding your life has never lost direction.
Rest this weekend.
We go again next week. with love,
Jumoke
