We know that yes, love can be confusing. People can be confusing. Men can be especially interesting. Women too we are one special being , before somebody comes for me.
Dear Friend,
Who is clapping? Nobody? Okay. Who is excited? Don’t worry, I can see some of you.
After all this time, I have entered your Wednesday timeline again.
Some of you are probably like, “Ah! So she remembers Wednesday Love?” Yes o.
I remember. Some of you even started looking at me somehow. “This woman has been talking about love, but where is the Wednesday Love Series?” I hear you.
Some of you dragged me. Some of you waited patiently. Some of you probably forgot the series existed. Some of you didn’t even notice I was gone. God bless you too. But anyway, everybody calm down. We are back.
before we continue, how are we doing? How is October treating you? How is life? How is love? How is the person you are pretending you don’t like? 👀
How is that situationship you have refused to give a name?
How is marriage?
How is singleness?
How is your relationship with God?
How are we coping?

apparently, while I was away, everybody continued falling in love, falling out of love, getting married, getting engaged, getting disappointed, meeting people, unmeeting people, blocking people, unblocking people
Love did not wait for me. Neither did you all. honestly, I have missed this. I have missed coming here on Wednesdays to talk about love without making it feel like we are sitting in a marriage seminar with notebooks on our laps.
Wednesday Love has always been that little corner where we can laugh, breathe, gist, think, learn, and remember that love is still one of God’s beautiful ideas.
We know that yes, love can be confusing. People can be confusing. Men can be especially interesting. Women too we are one special being , before somebody comes for me.
Marriage is beautiful. Marriage can also humble you. Dating can be exciting. Dating can also make you look at your phone every seven minutes like the answer to your destiny is hiding inside WhatsApp.
underneath all the gist, there is something I never want us to lose:
God loves us. Before the relationship. Before the proposal. Before the wedding. Before the “my husband did this.” Before the “my wife said that.” Before somebody chooses you. Before somebody doesn’t. You are already loved. one of the things I want us to keep coming back to. The love of God. The love we give. The love we receive. The love we are learning to understand. The love we are learning to give properly.
The love we are praying for. The love we are preparing for. The love we sometimes make unnecessarily complicated.
So yes, Big Sister in Love is back. this time, I am hoping we can actually maintain these Wednesdays by the help and mercy of God, because clearly I need Jesus too. No promises of “every Wednesday till Jesus comes” because look at what happened the last time I tried to be confident.
But we will try.
We will show up.
We will talk.
We will laugh.
We will learn.
We will love.
We will talk about the things that make us go, “Hmmmm.”
We will talk about the things nobody wants to say out loud.
We will talk about God.
We will talk about men.
We will talk about women.
We will talk about marriage.
We will talk about dating.
We will talk about friendship.
We will talk about you. occasionally, I will mind my business. Occasionally.
So, to those who waited: Thank you.
To those who dragged: I have forgiven you.
To those who didn’t notice: It’s okay. We shall pretend you were busy.
And to those who are just discovering Wednesday Love: Welcome, my darling. You came at the right time.
come and sit down. Let’s do this again.
